It depends where you go. In rural areas you might have an issue and are advised to bring toilet paper, but if you aren't going on a several day trek far removed from urban areas you shouldn't have a problem. Decent hotels will have all the amenities you need.
I have seen people piss in public, but I see that here too. I've never seen anyone shytting in public, again that's a rural thing.
