Canada entered WW2 before America because American public opinion oscillates between isolationism, and interventionism. As a matter of fact, Woodrow Wilson won his election in 1916 because of his platform that he wouldn't take America into WW1. It just so happened we were in an isolationist stance due in no small part of the casualties we sustained in the Civil War, and then WW1. You act like Canada had a choice in the matter. Your Head of State is the Queen mum, who lives across the pond in London Town. The Head of State has de jure powers over the armed forces in Parliamentary systems (you should know this as a former law student. Maybe I should go to law school in Canada, the curriculum might be less vigorous, what say ye ?). When she says jump, y'all say how high; when she says on the double, y'all say yes mum. And you, and your parents weren't even born when Canada entered WW2, nor were they citizens. They were in Jamaica singing at the time. That's like me being proud of being black because the Egyptians built the pyramids.
For black Americans reading this, I'm not saying you should give a black WW2, or Korean War vet. a hand job, or suck them off, but you should be cognizant of their contributions to the Civil Rights era, which were instrumental in securing rights that we enjoy today.
