Canibus and Ras Kass. Might not have had a much bigger career without the L's but probably at least some what bigger. Talent to success ratio crazy.

B.o.b for sure ,he's dropped a lot of good music since that should of been hits. Not really from Taking Ls but bone could of been huge in the trap era if they didn't sign shytty deals and stuck together . Dababy had 2 number ones on top 40 and fukked it up. 6 9 is probably the biggest fall off , somehow gunna ended up getting more popular after the trial . Chris Brown went after hoodrat fans and got passed by Bruno.

Don’t think dude was ever much but muscle for Tip during the time he was beefing with Lo…but he got dropped and black balled after that paperwork dropped and that was the end of his chapter

What made it nastier was when he tried to produce a documentary series about the most notorious ATL gangsters and did the first (and only) episode on himself :dead: has to be the WOAT failure at damage control.

Kinda in the middle on that…

Ja was still able to sell some units after the 50 beef.

The fed case stopped the momentum for the whole label including Ashanti

This isn’t true at all and is a talking point that 50 haters use lol

January 2003 they were arrested.

Blood in my eye dropped in November 2003 and it flopped.

R.U.L.E dropped on Nov. 3 2004 went gold off the strength of New York in January 2005 and still hasn’t gone platinum cause it was ass.

They were acquitted in December that year. Feds had nothing to do with his whack music.

Stop it, nikka :unimpressed:

Some of y’all young nikkas be overrating the fukk out of Chris Brown

He’s a good dancer with a whiny ass voice

But he is by no means, in any way, shape or form, the closet thing to Michael Jackson

Just because we ain’t got nobody worthy of actually giving props to in “R&B” music, does not mean we need to be hyping up some washed up artist turned wannabe gang banger who dances and can’t sing

nikkas be just hyping up bullshyt like it’s the best thing since sliced bread

Chris Brown couldn’t touch MJ with a ten foot pole

He couldn’t walk in MJ’s loafers or hold his glove

As I said he was the closest one to MJ and he was on his way prior to the incident. If Mike himself gave him the blessing, why would I care what you say lmao.

Performance wise he was the closest thing to Mike. Bruno Mars tried to bite the aesthetic and the weekend tries to do his version of it vocally but Chris had it and was real close. Go listen to the song Fine China, dude had the dancing and performing down pact and he wildly talented.

As for his voice I would say he ruined it more recent years from all the smoking and shyt. It years ago he had a way better voice.
Chris bounced back in a year…

Black Women saved his career and forgave him.

Rihanna forgave him herself.

When Dueces came out, everyone was fukking with it during that Summer. I did

After that incident, CB started to spiral out of control and adopted a more thug image which kinda got him out of the box that hurt Ray J and many of our childhood singers.

I’m kinda glad that Chris didn’t go too pop. His music was popular for the men and the women to bump.

The media been wanting to see Chris crack ever since but he’s smart enough to come with receipts.
Indeed he did bounce back but imo I think him going the MJ/POP route would have been much more lucrative than the urban thug image route that he did. He had a lot of doors shut on him but through his talent many of them opened back up. I'm sure there are some doors still shut on him but he's been able to keep pushing through and you have to give him credit for that.
