today somebody [a white woman] at salon.com wrote a piece about gabby being too religious... people tryin' to give gabby an L 'cause of her hair and a few innocuous religious comments...

They had the whole day to do/change the order of promos since she won this morning, and this aired during primetime.

come on. supposedly, they've run that commercial before, and it's been run in intervals throughout the olympics. one could argue that NOT airing the commercial out of respect for gabby is more racist than airing the commercial as if it isn't a big deal.

this is one of those instances where you're seeing racism when it isn't there.
