Katie Cassidy is the latest Berlantiverse actor to ink one of those cool new deals, by which she is now a series regular across multiple CW superhero shows — namely The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow and her original stomping grounds, Arrow (on which she will appear in the Season 5 premiere).

Wentworth Miller, who transitioned from The Flash to Legends (for a one-season stint), was the first actor to sign such a grounbreaking pact; Arrow vet John Barrowman followed, earlier this month.

Shortly after Cassidy’s Laurel Lance was killed off of Arrow this past spring, Cassidy popped up on sister series The Flash, as Miss Lance’s Earth-Two doppelganger, the minxy metahuman Black Siren.

Both Miller and Barrowman it has since been announced at Comic-Con, will play key roles in Season 2 of Legends, as Captain Cold, Malcolm Merlyn, along with Reverse-Flash (played by The Flash‘s Matt Letscher) and Damien Darhk (Arrow‘s Neal McDonough), form the Legion of Doom.

:mjlol: So brehs, we not goina talk about this? WTF was the point of killing off Laurel (other than to get rid of her so they make Olicity endgame on "Arrow")?

This is just proof that they don't know WTF to do with these actors on these overall deals.

I asked my boy yesterday this very question when this was released :stopitslime:That very bullshyt scene last season with Laurel on her deathbed talking about be with Felicity :snoop:Felicity turning to the camera I'm not going anywhere :snoop::pacspit:I don't remember a character taking such a serious 180 heel turn like this. She was great in s1 and 2 as the quirky Oracle without the tragedy of the group smh she was perfect :mindblown:
I can already see it

He'll start off being in love with Felicity but after she tells him to gtfo he'll try to kill her and her friends in revenge :troll:

Even before Cassidy was announced as being contracted across all the DC/CW shows, Guggenheim was saying Laurel had to die because her story was done and they started to have too many costumed heroes on the show...but then they introduce 3 brand new costumed heroes for the upcoming season.:mindblown:
Its obvious Guggenheim didn't like the character or the actress but Berlanti and Kreisman actually do like her so they are trying to rectify Guggenheim's bullshyt.
