Look. Once you get past extra time it's a fukking lottery. You can plan and scheme all you want but you will always need some luck.

Ironically it seems like the English have better odds at winning the Euromillions than a football tournament.

I blame Southgate, Sterling, Kane for tonight more than anything

All on Southgate. This is what happens when a PE teacher faces off against an actual tactician. England were good for maybe 20 minutes, then trash for the next 100mins. Southgate had no idea what to do and tried to defend from minute 3 onwards. Cant blame Kane or Sterling whatsoever i'm afraid, Mount has had a garbage ass tournament and kept him on until after extra time even though he was the link between the DMs and FWs yet couldnt make a pass to save his life. . England have such talented players who can retain the ball but this clown manager doesnt play them. I was watching the BBC coverage and couldnt believe they were giving Rice such praise, dude was a waste - bursting through 4 or 5 times and losing the ball, this the sort of thing to be proud of . I said it a couple of days ago, this shyt was routine for italy - they did get caught cold early and as soon as they figured how to shut Kane down it was a wrap, England didnt have a chance.
