I don't understand why the Netherlands didn't just rest all their starters for this match. Their position is 100% set.

Still a huge risk though. I would personally prefer to give some minutes to the others in the squad like Italy did but I understand wanting to keep momentum.

Weird decision by FDB not to give his starters a break. Maybe he'll make 3 subs beginning of 2nd half to give the other players some minutes to get up to speed.
