Except the fact that Camille is also HIS MANAGER and the one that write up the checks to these women. Hence why the push for her deposition. And that's for the CIVIL case not the criminal case. In the criminal case, she cannot be force to testify because of her being his wife. But in the civil court, anything goes since she's his manager too.

I don't understand why they need her to testify when the Best Evidence Rule applies. Certainly without the physical documents/checks before her, she can't remember what she wrote out as Bill's manager. Wouldn't it make more sense for the prosecution to subpoena any and all business/payment records of Cosby within the last 30 years rather than relying on her memory?

Moreover, checks aside, you know that they're trying to pry into their marital conversations.
