Arma 3: Life is everything GTA Online should be.

The shytty interface & animations aside, the Arma 3: Life mod is basically what people want from GTA Online. The mod is completely player driven with functioning economies, some people play it like the sims, others become criminals and some become cops.

The dude is a criminal that has a plan to take hostages in the prison which is manned by real players and has actual players in prison. They set up an ambush to capture a prison bus so they can get the cops to open the prison gate, that works and they breach the inner door and kill the guards inside. They have player hostages and the cop players send in a negotiator, they demand $1 million and a TV crew the TV crew shows up and has a helicopter. The negotiator says he'll give them half for two hostages, they end up taking the negotiator hostage and get the $1 million because he had both halves of the money on him One of the hostage cops pulls a gun and they kill him, the swat team is about to breach the door but they get blown up and the criminals escape in the helicopter.

This type of game is the next step for consoles, some shyt where the entire world is player driven.

IMO Arma 3 is the best game out. it's not a perfect game, but it has the potential to actually produce interesting gameplay, like this mod

arma is a military simulator. shyt like this and day z are arma mods. PC exclusive of course

Yeah, mainly because it's a mod of a game with shyt animations, but just think what a game from Rockstar would be like with these same ideas.

Nah it's not staged, people are just really roleplaying in it.

Misdemeanors are under 30 minutes

Felonies get you more than 30 minutes in prison
