why are there so many knock off versions of this show?

Because it's popular. Anyone doing something that is proven to work gets copied. Where have you not seen this formula on yt over and over?

I don't even think she came up with it based on other posts here, but hers seems to be the most well-produced, which is a credit to her husband I believe.

Even if we all think his music sucks, he is probably the brains behind the concept and why the show seems so polished in comparison to the other versions of it. This show is almost able to be put on tv, but they would need better vetting of contestants.

Everyone else's versions are fit for tubi at best.

Very true. Definitely think all the 20 v 1 garbage came before Arlette and BM’s, but they definitely have a leg up on all those other shows.

All the shows came before Arlette even pop the balloon. They just have the best production and include black people of all social classes and what people come across day to day.

The others are either too ratchet or poor production. So they won. She is a good hosts and her husband is the brains behind the production since he been involved in media before. So it's a good combo
