Common Mos Def DMX don’t have the discography all amazing rappers but only have about 3 or less great projects

Mobb Deep Tribe Run DMC and Kast are groups

Snoop and Kanye West have had significant parts of their discographies written and Snoop only has one truly great album

Everyone else I can see the arguments for or against. We talking about somebody who has two bonafide classic albums that changed music and lead to some of artist best work by copying the formula of it and also puts in the work writing the songs and lyrical prowess.

Common absolutely has a better catalogue the Kendrick. Obviously, a big reason is because he started earlier. The ace Kendrick always has is GKMC. That album is better than alot of people's best album. But overall, I think Com is better than Kendrick

Metaphors, rhyme schemes, the ability to stay on subject, mic presence. I feel like he's a great storyteller and has an excellent grasp of music theory, but he's not really someone that I necessarily want to digest in a quick setting like those that I consider more mc centric. As an overall artist, I think he's amazing though.

I can respect your opinion and disagree I do think time is a big positive but I think Kendrick is a better Lyricist with better top end albums. I do think it’s amazing that Common can release albums 20 years into his career that are still great and give him a huge bump ahead of a lot of people.
