I would say he’s top 15 and he’s in my personal top ten. I value music/albums over lyrical ability, which is why I would rank Kendrick higher than say…Lupe, and I’m a Lupe fan from Chicago.

When you think about it, he checks most of the boxes. The only thing people might criticize him for his his voice and the fact that he receives “too much praise,” which creates resentment.

That's 20 (?) off the top real quick that, if someone were making a Top 20 Rappers ever list and this was it, I don't see how Kendrick just has to be there and replace one of them...it's easily arguable that they all belong over him. Kendrick is in my Top 20...probably my Top 10 at this point, and I genuinely fux with him...I'm just saying tho, it's not that crazy to say he's isn't Top 20-25, maybe even 30, ever. Top 50 seems like a stretch, lol, you're bound to start naming some random WTF ass people at that point.

Common Mos Def DMX don’t have the discography all amazing rappers but only have about 3 or less great projects

Mobb Deep Tribe Run DMC and Kast are groups

Snoop and Kanye West have had significant parts of their discographies written and Snoop only has one truly great album

Everyone else I can see the arguments for or against. We talking about somebody who has two bonafide classic albums that changed music and lead to some of artist best work by copying the formula of it and also puts in the work writing the songs and lyrical prowess.

I’m not saying Dave East’s fan base is bigger or even comparable (nor am I saying he’s better), but a lot of people will put on Dave East before listening to Mr Morale
