Usually in cases like you just described the woman will be nasty and try to be overbearing towards men...Now i'm not saying in her personal life that doesn't happen but in the public eye it seems like she primarily goes at women...so there is something else that happened in her younger days to make her so focused on going on women....even with the fukked up situation with her father

Remember, Aretha's mother divorced her father and left to live in another state. Some people say that it wasn't abandonment, it's just that C.L. Franklin had so much power that the mother couldn't get custody.
