this needs a movie......... hell the Al green Story with the Grits needs some sort of revisiting. The 60s and 70s was way more lit than today but we only really have bits and pieces of what happened due to no 24hr a day News cycles, Social Media or Msg boards that supply u with endless Links of everything.
That doesn't explain her catty and petty nature with other women though...
Usually in cases like you just described the woman will be nasty and try to be overbearing towards men...Now i'm not saying in her personal life that doesn't happen but in the public eye it seems like she primarily goes at women...so there is something else that happened in her younger days to make her so focused on going on women....even with the fukked up situation with her father
What kills me about this is that she goes after mostly women who aren't in her lane musically. There was no reason for her to be shyt to Whitney, and the Tina and Beyonce issue she was too damn old to be getting mad at. She just seems to be an overly rude person.

What i do hate though is that this doesn't get buzz but if we heard stories of this with a younger Black female artist all the old folks would be talking about it more publically.
