After sleeping on it and reading some stuff I definitively enjoy the movie more, in hindsight. Truthfully this is one of those movies where you are better off reading the spoilers. That way you know the thought process going into the movie and can form a better impression.

I hate to say it, but this may be true.

I'm still amazed at how many people didn't understand what was happening there. They even show a dna helix.

As for Prometheus. I thought it was a pretty good movie, but I think some of the lore went over my head.

I guess Predators is the "3rd" film in the predator series.... Which is why they make reference to Arnold and his mercenaries in the film...

AVP 1 and AVP 2 take place after "Predators" and before the first "Alien" film and consequently, before "Prometheus"....

They are so bad I don't like to consider them apart of the series, more like a crossover like "Freddy Vs Jason"...

Exactly. His behavior wasn't consistent with that of someone that knew they were going to disintegrate.

the opening shot with the waterfall in imax was the water looked so crisp

Movie had nice visuals I'd give it about 7-8/10. I agree with what someone mentioned in here about the movie basically being about Christianity, the space jockey being dead for about 2000 years, so they decided to kill us around year 0. Rapace character always talking about here religious belief, grabbing her cross in the end and when asked why she still believed in God she says something about the Engineers created us but who created them? And honestly this is the type of movie where the writers will never explain plot holes and storyline, maybe because they don't have good explanation themselves
