I enjoyed this movie experiece, especially in IMAX 3D. shyt had me looking like . I knew going in that there was going to be more questions than answers considering they were talking about doing a sequel if this one performed well. Some people prefer having explanations for everything while others, like me, don't mind having a little mystery in the plot. That's what made the original Alien dope to me. It could just turn out to be shytty writing but this depends on what they do for the sequel, if there is one. But then again it shouldn't come down to this. A movie should be able to stand on its own.

So as a stand-alone movie, you'll enjoy it if you don't mind having unanswered questions. If you do mind, then this movie is just eye candy with shytty writing.

That's not the same planet. "Alien" takes place on LV-426, "Prometheus" takes place on LV-223.
