Are you ready for a female head coach in the NBA brehs?

the lack of african americans in more lucrative positions (in a league being 75% black) is far more important than a lack of female coach (in a league where 0% of the players are females). That's my opinion. Like i said it's great having a women as a head coach, but more things should be a bigger priority.

Again, important topic but a different and unrelated one. Doesn't make it less important but it's not the focus of what they're addressing. "fukk your cause. What about mine" won't get you far. You don't have to devalue their shyt to prop up your own concern. One issue doesn't need to be tackled before addressing the next one.

And this is the problem I have. Becky Hammon has sat on Popovich bench for 2 years, that is the totality of her coaching experience and yet we're having a discussion about when we're going to have a female head coach in the NBA and this is the name that's popping up.

but this happens a lot with men. A lot of men got coaching gigs with even less experience.

I feel you on the second point tho but do those women even want to coach men?

the only reason why anyone should be hired as a coach is how good/potentially good coach he/she is

gender/race etc. shouldn't have anything to do with it... just the fact if you're a good/potentially good coach

Outside of her who can let her resume earn her respect from the first day. I think most women would try to be extra tough just to get guys to respect her.

is there any female coach that wants to coach nba team? seriously....the wnba is much easier to coach because women listen to their coaches as they dont have that much talent in basketball like men do. So they need fundamentals, just like them european bball players

most of nba coaches are former nba/ncaa players, they know all the shyt that goes in the locker room

how is female coach gonna handle male locker room? ask her assistant coaches to do the work? like david blatt when lue was doing everything for him? Yea we know how that worked
