Someone sitting behind their computer or reading a book or sitting at a bar alone isn't a buzz kill though. And introvert doesn't always mean awkward. Even if they're awkward, if you have a sense of humor that ain't nothing to be worried about. Corny? I like corny people.

But I can be friendly and make small talk and bullshyt and build relationships. Because it's fun. Because I like to get to know the people I work with. Because you spend a lot of time around them because that's your career. And because it's just good to be friendly.

And my post was mostly a joke but if you have to lay off a person and the decision comes down between 2 people....and one person is social and friendly and likable. And the other person is like a ghost...guess who is getting cut?

Not even layoffs. Promotions too.

Or maybe, just maybe, introverts be chillin while working with a earbud in or making plans for the weekend? Maybe the really like their career and are focused on it.
It's not that big a deal

I say let people do what they do. Introverts or extroverts, i understand people have their own personalities, so I'm not gonna exclaim why someone is so quiet, they not bothering me.


Also most established introverts at high paid positions aren't getting fired. If you work at a bullshyt low paid $45k company, then yeah you might get fired. But if you work at a good company making $90k, it don't work like that.
