Are you saying a Migos album should get that love?

I don't know. ive never listened to a migos album.

I just know theyre not hyped like Kendrick so they shouldn't even be brought up.

if they were hyped like Kendrick, I prolly would've heard all their stuff by now.

I do. I just felt it wasn't as good as Mailman.

Mailman, in a major way, federal, and element of surprise are my favorites. Hall of game is okay.

As a fan of e40, I didn't like when he went hyphy. That was more of a Mac dre thing. Plus I wasn't really into that hyphy movement. shyt was kind of wack..:mjlol:

You just exposed yourself as the rnb type thing you are with this.
You tweaked't.....

The commercial artist are graded on a curve and have used said curve to make the entire core average of the entire course low enough to make failing a passing grade.

youre in your feelings right now. you luv mos def & common.

I didn't mention any commercial artists. so what are you arguing with me about them for? and what commercial artists are you referring to? we're probably in agreement on most of them.

Again you are deflecting because what I said had merit.

Why would you think I was big on lwfc?
Not to mention, who I became in 99, too tho.

Art Barr

why be big on common at all?

ur right. he had better albums. but its not like his falloff was that steep. he didn't fall off a cliff. he morseo just fell down the steps.

I just read the thread title but I agree w/ the thread title and I usually don't agree w/ @Wacky D on a lot of shyt.

But yeah, they do seem to get graded on a bit of a curve and simply because they coming w/ some "thought provoking" shyt.

:scust: Agreeing with Wack D on anything means that you probably should reconsider your opinion.

the belly of the empire
conscious rap was one of my favorite eras. some of hip hops greatest music came from those backpackers.

kweli, mos def, hi tek, common, the roots. That lil crew was like the death row of the underground. Legendary music was made when these dudes got together.

That era was a great escape from the c00nery of the mid to late 2000's
