nikkas need to be loyal to Sony though... They've blessed us countless amounts of times
I can understand brand preference to a point but these console and stans are beyond unreasonable and completely irrational ]it's like kids arguing over whose dad can beat up the other. I dont have much interaction with google/apple stans so I can't speak on them.
we've reached a point where we're arguing over cell phone operating systems that are marginally different and have most of the same software developed by the same developers. arguing over video game consoles that have 90% the same library and maybe get 10 or so exclusive titles a year out of hundreds of releases.
some of us are basically volunteer advertisers marketing these companies products for them for free.
i'm all for having preferences but if you can't play Uncharted because its on the Playstation and you're an Xbox brand warrior that doesn't make Uncharted a bad game it just means you missed out on a good game to remain loyal to something that has no reward for your loyalty.
there's a difference between having a preference and illogically convincing yourself a non-preferred brand is bad because it doesn't align with your preference. especially to the point where you miss out on things you'd like because of that.
WHAT ELSE WOULD WE TALK ABOUT IF WE WEREN'T STANNING? IT'S FUNNY SO STOP KILLING THE VIBE YA BISH.
If i buy an LG TV and its a good TV i'd do business with them again but i am not loyal to that brand. i'm in the market for a TV and whoever makes the best TV next go round will get my money. if in 2017 LG's flagship TV is inferior to Sony's flagship i'm not gonna irrationally defend LG or try to slam Sony to justify that fact.Brand loyalty/disloyalty can be justified though. If you've been doing business with a company for years and they've given you great treatment, why wouldn't you want to support them?
And there are justified reasons for not supporting other companies, like repeated poor service or just certain philosophies you hold.
the whole concept of sports is built on brand loyalty. that's the entire appeal of sports is having and following a team. there's a difference between being a sports fan of a team and saying i only brush my teeth with Crest toothpaste and nobody should use Aquafresh. Why are you a fan of your favorite sports team?
