Nah I'd say it was probably Trayvon Martin that kind of changed the culture on this forum.

Before that, I think a lot of black folks could joke with non-black folks and make some edgy jokes here and there or troll in a way that would be viewed as c00ning or ban worthy today. Once Trayvon happened, the shyt stopped be as funny because now you're wondering if these folks you're joking with are really joking or really think lowly of black people. It stops being a joke and now you got to be on guard. That whole incident really shed a light of how hateful a lot of people in this country can be.

I would say Trump winning was phase two of the change

yea once a teen got killed and people were justifying it , we knew then, it was like emmit till again. in their eyes hes a monster, but in reality, hes just a child, and they cant even view our children as children. thats when it was like ok, we're drawing a line with being cool like that.

Yeah, That was when people woke up from the "New Black" era of the Obama administration and figures that a post-racial society was all a fantasy. Even on Twitter, you see a lot of sly remarks on a joking matter against black people anything pre-2013.

Trayvon Martin was ground zero on the transition from "post-racial" to "militant". Trump winning just turned America into Nazi Germany and rapidly on the economic decline.
