Stalker 2 Currently Runs At 25FPS On Xbox Series S

Talking about the Xbox Series S console, the Stalker 2 lead producer has confirmed that the game currently runs at 25ish FPS.

Lead Producer Slava Lukyanenka discussed multiple aspects of the development, including the hurdles the team faced during the optimization process.

While replying to one of the questions about the Xbox Series S, the lead producer stated that the team is confident it can still achieve solid results with enough hard work and effort.

He says the team has two modes for Xbox Series X: performance mode, which runs at 60 FPS, and quality mode, which runs at 30 FPS but offers high resolution. The team plans to combine both to achieve similar results in Series S.

While the Xbox Series S currently falls short of the 30FPS target, the developers are hopeful about reaching a solid frame rate before the release.
