Barqs taste like root beer with cigarette ash in it . A&W is the only acceptable name brand . Even the store brands are better than Barqs

A&W is too sweet, but it’s better than Mug.

same here. it seems like it's not as widely distributed as it used to be.

not sure why.

sometimes i just settle for the diet 7 up, but there was a noticeable difference in taste for that and the typical diet lemon lime soda in my opinion.

Yep...

Only people i seen drink it is people on strict diets. I don’t drink soda unless I’m drinking it with liquor so diet Sprite was my go to chaser.
