I was one that said I would never cheat. I grew up in a happy two parent household. Got married fairly young. Not to make excuses but in order to be the man that society says you should be, you basically have to kill off everything that's inside of you. Become the provider, protector, problem solver, chauffeur, handy man, spider killer, dikk thrower, door opener, all the while your wife kinda glides through life #gmb. Any time I hear a woman say that's a "good man" I translate that as, that's a "dead man". Ironically, the things that you kill off are the things that attracted them to you in the first place. You can fight the urges for 5,10, 25 years but that shyt will come out one way or another. I don't care how happy you are with your wife, you're going to start having this inner conflict ie midlife crisis, to satisfy your inner. Monogamy isn't natural, it's systematic, it's great for our society but humans as a whole are about as good at it as we are eating ONLY the healthiest foods or balancing our budgets.
Then you ask, Hijo why get married in the first place? Or why not divorce so you can live the single life? Truth is, I love my wife. She's is my best friend and we've been through hell and back with each other. I've never desired the single life and I don't desire other women outside of the physical. I am a family man. Perfect? nah just human.
If you TRULY loved your wife you'd let her decide if she wanted to be in an open marriage. I bet you'd flip if she stepped out on YOU.
