You can also work on an oil rig if you live down south in the gulf. Or if you live in a city, become an operator of a subway train. Chicago just hired like 400 drivers earlier this summer. Or work at the airport as a TSA agent, it's nothing but nikkaz there. My homeboy has no degree but is one of those dudes who guides planes down the runway for AA or loads/unloads cargo and he's only outside when there are planes landing in his area, on a 10 hr shift he might see 4 planes and just chill in between plus he gets hella flight benefits.

you need to go the school and get licensed and them apprenticeships is mad long. so the time it takes to complete, you can get a college degree so it really depends on how you want to utilize your preparation.

If you live in a bigger city, you could work in promotions.

Make your own schedule, get paid like 17-20 per hour, not really do shyt except for hand out free stuff to people, all while never wearing a suit. I got friends who do promos for hella big company and they are living the good life. Nice houses, can afford car notes

True...but I think Op should be thinking long term.... I have an older cousin who was a phone engineer, dude got laid off and in his early 30s he went back to school to study law....done a lot of shytty jobs but he's qualified now and is a successful attorney....

You're never too old to do something that will positively impact your life. As opposed to getting a 4 college degree, have you considered a 2 year? Have you considered getting some sort of certification? Have you considered becoming a nurse (they are in high demand and the job pays well)? I suggest going the certification route. It's cheaper and takes less time. Anything you do though, will require time, energy, and some financial investment. Put on your big girl panties and make a sound decision.
