Just wondering. and if so, put me on please. cuz this cinavia shyt with the PS3 is for the birds. and I dont like using my laptop and HDMI cord for watching movies. plus I dont like filling my laptop up with movies either.

I mean for the most part, I'm :eat: with PS3 and 500GB hard drive, but this cinavia is pissing me off. girl with the dragon tatoo, looper, 21 jump street, I mean damn :noah:

If you're going to invest you should give serious consideration to a NAS + HTPC running XBMC.

...or Plex if you're a retard and find XBMC is too difficult. I believe with a Roku you can run Plex and stream the movies from your PS3's hard drive.

THIS. It's the only box that plays EVERYTHING. No need to convert anything. My favorite purchase in like the last 5 years. The only thing that would make it better would be if it had an Amazon Video app.

almost everythinng,i don't think it plays wmv

You download the software on the WD site. You plug the device on your router or you have to buy a USB wireless adapter so it can be connected to your network for file transfer and streaming. Once it's connected, then you can put your things (nah mean) right into it or you can store whatever. You should be able to browse it from your PC, delete and transfer files with no issues.


It does not play FLV files though :whoa:
