You don't need cash to execute a plan. They could go full fledged rebuild mode and traded Wright and dikkey to restock the farm. There was no excuse to keep someone like Scott Hariston even if you only get a C+ prospect back. Instead they're focused on mediocrity for the foreseeable future.

I legit had people tellin me before the season began the Mets would make the playoffs, but I was still stuck in '06 like, "fukk no!! These nikkas ain't done shyt to make me believe in them in 30 years. Why the fukk should I start now?" I was proud to see them get here, but still disappointed in the outcome. I mean, how many teams have blown 3 saves in the same fukkin world series. It was such an unprecedented way to lose I would've felt better if they had just been blown out and outclassed.
