Good answers though. I can’t front, there’s certain rappers I do not at all want to hear more than 3 minutes from. The idea of a 5 minute Playboi Carti or XXX song is since they can barely string together 1 verse and adlibs. It wasn’t even until I was making this thread that I realized Magnolia was just 1 semi-long ad-lib sounding verse and 3 hooks

Now nikkas just write one long verse and mumble half of it. I wouldn't be surprised if nikkas start making songs with just adlibs.

It’s hard to even tell when the hook and verse start and end because they’re done with the same flow and usually half the same words so how the fukk can you tell what’s what?
