Are tablets the most useless tech nowadays?

I be seeing Princesses left and right pulling out tablets on planes. I just pull out my phone packed up with the shows and movies I need to check out and I'm good.

My IPad has come through in the clutch for me at work while I'm away. I got sick of carrying my heavy ass laptop to VPN to my work CPU. It's really convenient and light as hell. My laptop is dead to me.

I like my tablet. One thing I don't have anymore is a desktop though. I will use my mbp or hp for computing stuff and use my tablets just to browse. I actually use my nexus 7 as more of an e-reader then anything and use my TFT-300 as my main browser. I don't look at movies and shows on my tablet shyts gay. But I will browse the hell out of the net or post on here from my tab.

I use my notebooks to consume porn.

My laptop is dead to me.

I got tired of watching my wife lug that shyt all over the house so I copped her an iPad mini, Sony Experia S for me the laptop is dust collecting. My tablet gets heavy burn magazines, books, remote commander, net browsing etc etc.

I use Ipad every day and love it. I have a desktop PC, but its more of a secondary device for storage and downloading shyt. I don't do any work after I leave the office so I have no need for that microsoft office nonsense. I use the iPad on the couch all night and its easy to pick up and bring all over the house or travel with.

Like the other guy said, you are an idiot for buying it twice if you knew you had no use for it

for me, i see no purpose beyond browsing the web and maybe playing some games/ reading a book. i couldn't justify the price for my usages

I must admit with my primary phone being a galaxy note 2 the nexus 7 has been kind of squeezed out but i already got it so I just use it to read. But ain't nothing messing with my transformer until that windows tab comes down in price or I can get a nex 10 for the low.

I have a iPhone5, MB Pro, Desktop, but i love my Ipad. Its just too convenient. I use my Ipad for radio, games, surfing in bed, airplane travel, and the most importantly surfing the net while on the toilet. Nothing beats surfing while on the toilet, serenity now

Yes. I use the Asus transformer with the dock. The Splashtop app lets me remote access my Desktop from the tablet so I can still do some serious work if I need to and if I dont want to carry around a heavy ass laptop. I got my transformer off groupon with the dock for 259 i think the price is very reasonable
