To answer your question, I feel once you cross over $120 you are no longer paying just for the quality.

The Vapormax isn’t a running shoe though...they specifically told me not to run heavy in mines at the footlocker. I had mine for a year with no problems

most my nike shoes are the most comfortable shoes that i've ever owned.

I bought three pairs of air max 90 knockoffs for $200 well over a year ago just to see what they were looking like. I'm still using them as my work shoes where I average nearly ten miles of hard walking to this day. I'd probably still be buying them had it not been for stockx.com. Now I can find colorways that I like without having to pay new release prices for them.

Yep. The quality is there but it's still overpriced.

But then I've picked up some $10 tennis shoes at WalMart that I just use for exercise and they are comfortable as hell, have been in water situations and everything and I've never had to do a single repair on them. I even wear them out and about sometimes fukk it.

Edit : A lot of you are referring to playing hoops in your shoes. Yeah that's a different animal. You need better shoes for that. There's a reason many basketball players have endorsement for shoes. Basketball is very high intensity for your foot action.

They use quality materials, even though their products are assembled in china. Bootleg products use the same blueprints but use cheaper materials.
