I aint gotta deal with paying @Another Man to run his fingers through my scalp every couple weeks while sitting in a spinning chair he manipulates as he shaves me

Kinda. Used to pay 5-15 when I was a teenager, now it's 40-50. Worth it tho for a good cut.

Here's the thing though, that good cut is only good until it isn't (in my case a max of 10 days before it's looking ) . 40-50 would really be 80-100 a month if i really wanna be looking sharp all the time

It sucks. Barbers that do black hair shouldnt be trying to charge white hair stylist prices. They will make the money up on volume since blacks and hispanics go to the barber more often. A lot of barbers letting social media get to their head

I already brought a set a clippers, im slowly learning how to cut my hair.

Now I can do adjustments around my hairline. I do my whole facial hair entirely and take my hair down a length.

I'm going to buy a back mirror next off amazon.

Ya man mad black youtubers are popping out talking about $200 cuts for work I get now for $45 with enhancements. Who are these black folks that are dropping a bag like that consistently.

Definitely get yourself a nice pair of clippers, shaver, outliner and 3-way mirror. Whole setup probably run you about $200-250 but you'll be saving yourself money by the 4th/5th cut. I ran the numbers and estimated I was saving about $1200 a year cutting my own shyt

I was only paying 20 for my cuts but I couldn't believe people was paying 40+ for theirs. I can't justify a haircut past 20, I just said fukk it and got a head shaver.

I pay $35 every 2-3 weeks, though I have a few friends and cousins that pay $50 + tip, which I find hard to justify even when it looks good
