NYC has new towers going up around the clock. shyt BK even getting empire state building sized towers as we speak. you got LIC, downtown BK, midtown, downtown. there is not one NYC skyline. choose a better pic breh.

when you on the FDR looking north to the brooklyn bridge, manhattan bridge, williamsburg bridge. cars and trans crossing the bridge and all the buildings visible. theirs nothing like it. all these other cities have 1 dimential sky lines. you can see it all from one spot.

Chicago is pretty with the lake front view and All though. san fran is dop too with the ocean and bay views. if you dont have water and bridges ya skyline trash b

NEW YORK CITY
Well tbh that was 16 years.

Even if NY still had the towers, alot of other cities have stepped their skylines up notches since then.

NY still wouldve been looking the same since 1992 n shyt

I dont think you or most in this thread have a firm grasp on whats going on in the skyscraper world right now

Nyc as we speak is literally going through the biggest skyscraper boom the city has ever seen in its history:dead:

Literally unprecedented in this country

I aint gone lie tho, one thing that always ammused me about NY was that is an Island, not a city on the land. I think most people don't even know that.

Im not a big fan of NYs skyline, but the overall city design from the street grids to 5 boroughs being connected together to make one mega city intrigues me.

Skyline still overraetd tho :francis:

I'm a Cali kid and NY and Chicago's skylines are world class imo. LA is finally making some strides

Www.skyscrapercity.com welcome to my world :blessed:

NYC really can't be topped in the US, because like poster above said. It's not just supertalls popping up in Manhattan...taller than Empire State Building, but Long Island City and Downtown Brooklyn have ridiculously tall and nice looking skyscrapers going up. Plus, I think like was mentioned, water really sets shiit off as far as aesthetics.

2nd place is tie between Miami and Chicago

3rd Place L.A., Houston, DFW, and ATL cause of so many districts

Seattle and San Francisco are probably overall best b/se they have rolling hills added to water and skyscrapers.

More cities are redeveloping their dowtowns and suburban districts....so more panoramic shots on the way.
