Dubai from afar looks amazing but ground level it looks like Sim City.. like there's nothing on the ground, no walk-ability, bars/restaurants, shops, etc. They're building skyscrapers like crazy but I believe alot of these buildings are half empty. They don't have the population. This article is a few years old but maybe things have changed:I think dubai in regards to skylines and definitely modernization is up there to.
GOAT skylines
NYC
Chicago
Everything else sucks. Miami has come up too
Theres literally like one stretch for 3/4 a mile on Lakeshore that you can drive down in Chicago and get a decent view and thats coming around going north towards Grant Park from Soldier Field. Basically, unless you live in a high rise on the near north facing south, near west facing east or around Roosevelt your view is average as hell. The way its designed, Chicago's skyline as a resident is nothing like all the shots from helicopters over the Lake. Other cities like NY have skylines that also translate to pedestrians and drivers aesthetically.
My GOAT City even though the bytches are stoosh here.
ClassicI love Washington, DC's regulations of not having skyscrapers and letting the Monument and Capitol Buildings shine:
