i been in the gym since january.. never take my mask off and I'm aight.

I got sick when they removed buckets filled with wipe and I had to wipe down stuff with spray bottles hundreds of other people touched.

Don't think it was covid though.

I hear you but... most these nikkas where I am aint wearing masks and delta is having folks for breakfast. I'm not trying to risk that... not even for gainz. :wow:

99% of people in my gym ain't wearing masks either anymore.

Long as you keep ya mask on, wash ya hands after the gym you should be straight.

How many squats do you do?

I do at LEAST 200 every time I work out, and most days it's over 300.

But like I said, I haven't SEEN any noticeable changes there, but when I "flex", my legs (and my ass :dame:) does feel solid as hell.

Now with that being said, I've always had skinny legs (genetics). I took after my mom instead of my dad :francis:
I dont have a workout routine, im a couch potato. I only "exercise" when I feel sluggish. I will maybe do 4 sets of 20 reps and nothing more as part of a shadow boxing -> pushups -> situps -> burpees -> squats routine just to "feel alive". It doesnt increase my leg size because they already big anyway, just gives em a nice pump. I can get away with this because of genetics. If I was trying to build size i'd have opted to do real heavy weight squats.

"Significantly" is based on your judgement in the mirror. You said above that you made this progress in three weeks. That's not a realistic amount of time to grow sizeable lean muscle regardless of the method. I won't sit here an tell you don't look and feel bigger to yourself but also a lot of it is based on your perception to say you've grown significantly in that time frame is kind of outside of the science.
Before and after pics ends speculation on if he perceives anything.

Scientifically? No. A lot of these self proclaimed gurus or fitness freaks are on the juice. Bruce Lee found out about being too lean and not lifting the hard way. You're not gonna get bigger without weight training. A farmer can tell you this. With aerobics, calisthenics, and isometric training, you'll get lean, and strong, but not bigger. Arnold didn't get big without weights, neither did Eugene Sandor. You have to have some kind of weight training, regardless of what it might be.

Yes, but you’ll have to continue to work until failure and have a caloric surplus.

So in Sydney we are in total lockdown due to covid, so all gyms are closed. I have been doing the following bodyweight exercises every day:

150 x push ups
100 x incline push ups
100 x decline push ups
100 x dips

And finishing off with 20 mins or so of cardio with a jump rope. Do you guys think that is enough to maintain and/or build muscle? If not, any suggestions? :feedme:

you'll prolly lean out with that routine...get a resistance bands set too
