I can't say I have ever meet a black- Mexican mixed person. Are they a common sight in the west?

There's a good number of them who ride Mexican, it just really depends. I would say more of em claim black, but not on no 80/20 shyt. More on some 55/35 or 60/40 shyt, plenty of em claim La Raza...

Probably depends on how Hispanic they look. Especially if they are light skinned or ambiguous looking. I know some half black Caribbean Hispanics that are the same way.

Went to college with a few and they were in the Black Student Union.
They definitely weren't light skinned....darker than Will Smith and lighter than LeBron. Only way you could tell is the hair. Thick but very straight without needing to perm it. Easily hitting past the shoulders for a couple of them. One cut his hair low with a taper fade and you would never guess he was anything but black.
