Anyone that's studied Nazi germany understands the similarities in the way that the Trump campaign conducted itself and how Hitler rose to power in his early years. Lots of propaganda, promises of strong nationalism, creating scapegoats, protectionism, double-speak; it's all there.

Anyone with an understanding of American history knows that internment camps, slavery & jim crow are only a stones throw away.

I don't think THE PEOPLE will allow that to happen again. I'd like to believe that we learn from our mistakes. People would not let genocide happen in America happen in this day and age. I don't think the minds of white America are THAT far polluted.

That's the thing about history, all it takes is an economic crisis or a war and rationality flies out the window. It's happening in Europe right now

During the 1920s a final solution would have been unthinkable to most Germans but then shyt happens & by early 1940s they were throwing people into death camps; people become easily swayed during times of desperation

I thought Brexit & Trump were completely impossible last year, but it happened which is why we can't rule anything off the table. It's naive to assume that most people think rationally.
