From her article:

Honestly, the staggering number of sexually transmitted infections contracted by black women can be attributed to vaginal intercourse with men, the same men who say they don’t have sex with other men. Research shows, though, that men who contract HIV from vaginal sex only account for a mere 4.87 percent of new HIV cases. There’s a good chance that a man who claims to be heterosexual and contracts the virus is not getting it from a woman.

The black community needs to acknowledge the fact that bisexual men aren’t on the down low, they aren’t living in secrets and lies; they are out and embracing their truth, and that is something to be honored, not shamed.

Not only is this bird confirming everything I said in this thread but is trying to make it normal and acceptable:hubie::scust:

I would have said absolutely not a few years ago but this silly gender fluidity nonsense that I keep hearing spouted makes me wonder if some of these gay/bisexual dudes arent sleeping with some of these batshyt over-feminist weirdos

As much as these type of women try to villianize masculinity, these types of women will also have to become comfortable with dating bisexual men.

Just remember that all black women do NOT think this way. It’s a loud minority.

straight up confusion :francis:

I think most women just are bad at spotting the signs or putting the pieces together, we gotta protect our black women:wow:
Had to throw the challenge flag out a couple times for my home girls when they get starry eyed over a mango dude with light skin and a healthy beard

And I’m telling you what you said doesn’t make sense.

A white demographic has the highest rate of HIV. A black demographic has some of the lowest. The only outliers are Black women.

I said couple of 100s, not 100. The CDC uses 100,000s which is more than enough.

The theory doesn't even make sense given that White men have the highest rates of HIV/AIDS.
And if it were simply a private doctor/clinic thing then we'd expect straight Black men/women to have similar rates. They don't.

I dunno breh, all the research I've been seeing, and even in this thread, say otherwise. Black gay males have the highest # overall, and black straight females have the highest # out of the heterosexual groups. You right that black straight females seem to be the outlier, but isn't that the premise of the thread?...that they're being infected by the gay/dl bm? Especially since the # for straight black guys is less than half compared to straight bw, meaning they're more than likely getting infected by another group, eg. gay/dl bm
The craziest thing about it that people seem to overlook is that these are the RAW NUMBERS, not the RATE!:mindblown:
Keep in mind that black people are less than 20% of the whole population, yet have the highest NUMBER...extrapolate that to a rate of x/100,000 and it gets scary mad quick:damn:
...Which makes me think there might be something to the public/private clinics and reporting theory (for HIV specifically), especially since the rates for other STDS don't show such a discrepancy b/t the races.
I also didn't know that the CDC excluded data from some states such as Montana. This becomes even more relevant if you believe that most of the data comes from public clinics as opposed to private hospitals. I would imagine data from places like Montana, WV etc. that are largely white but also poor, meaning that a larger % of the population presumably uses public clinics and therefore reported to the CDC, would shed some insight into the real rates while accounting for the (presumably) socioeconomic bias in reporting b/t public vs private clinics and hospitals.
