Are atl and Houston the only cities that let you claim it even if you're outside city limits

Miami city limits are fairly small. Ain't nobody gonna say they from Miami Springs, North Miami, Opa-Locka, West LIttle River, etc. Technically, South Beach isn't in Miami, it's in the city of Miami Beach.

Atlanta is funny cause you can be 15 minutes from downtown ATL and be outside the city limits (i.e. Decatur, Sandy Springs, Lithia Springs, East Point/College Park)

The combination of brooklyn.manhattan.queens and Staten = New york City

Manhattan is the city center. An absolutely enormous city center at that

Harlem is within the borough of manhattan. Its just that harlem is enormous, its a giant neighborhood with the population of a city itself

The scale in which Nyc operates is very different than any other american city
