TBH I was kind of sympathetic to them how they were treated post-911 but now it's like whatever because a lot of North-Africans I've known in Belgium are racist (towards blacks and whites) as f*ck themselves. I didn't see the documentary but there's one thing that is hard to deny, it's the bullshyt that DOES happen in Arab and Muslim countries (extreme examples include the stonnings, cutting off hands for bs, riots because of cartoons , terrorism...) as I once told some north-african dude in Brussels, I was like people will stop portraying you guys as "fouteurs de merde" (people who just end up starting shyt where they go) when you'll stop doing it. Unfortunately it ain't Polish people or Asian messing up parties in bars in Brussels. And about Muslims complaining about "the West" going against "Islam"...when Saudi Arabia is transforming Mecca in damn near Las Vegas...it wasn't Westerners or "infidels" who were burning down...mosques in Mali. So whatever, I try to keep it civil like with any other people but there is no "solidarity" towards them because we're supposedly "cousins" or "allies" against "Whitey"
These are the same kind of arguments people use in defense of their prejudice towards black people.
"it aint white people packing prisons, it aint white people killing each other in the streets...etc;"
