Wtf are you talking about? Civil Right Leaders absolutely did endorse and rally behind pro-civil rights political candidates who supported desegregation and covil rights legislation. Open a book homie.

The right to participate in voting was one of the movements biggest priorities to begin with. They absolutely did not lay back and let cacs continue to decide our government and our laws while just complaining and protesting.
