People reading this may come to the conclusion that Americans deserve Trump. One and the same. Trump reflects the American Id.
I'm not justifying anything that's coming. I'm saying these are deeply stupid, unserious people who clearly don't understand how anything works. They played with fire and lost. Granted do I think this issue had a real impact on the election? No, of course not. It was inflation/prices. But if you couldn't tell that both sides of that election had drastically different views, and one would be far worse for Palestinians, then I can't help you. Same boat as the Hispanics who don't think Trump will deport them because they aren't criminals. Good luck fellas.

This is what I'm talking about. We've gone from the genocide dynamic to "well a one state solution benefits us so this is a win." That is an insane opinion. We're now moving into the actual genocide phase of things - ie rounding up people, seizing homes, getting rid of people by various means, etc - and I'm seeing people argue this is an acceptable situation. Good luck with that.
All I know is that one political group clearly has no interest in a one state/genocide solution, and the other clearly does (because they don't believe in Palestinians/Gaza as a concept, as Evangelicals). Once again....good luck to yall.

Because our two-party system does not afford us the luxury of pissing away votes. Elections have consequences and being a single-issue voter will leave you fukked in the end. Just ask many of the folks who voted Trump who are now having buyer's remorse.

One side wants to roll the country back 300 years that will have a DIRECT effect on Black folks in America.
Every Tuesday when leaving work I drive across a group of 25 Palestine people waving their flags with signs about genocide and "honk if you want a ceasefire." Yesterday I drove by and yelled "You dikkheads helped Trump get re-elected you idiots" in the most sarcastic way possible. A couple people in the group started laughing.
I don't know if they were laughing cause they knew it was true and don't care or laughing cause they thought what I said was funny.
I'm sure the crowd will increase once Jared Kushner heads over there to do a real estate land appraisal over the dead bodies of Palestians.

I don't know, nor do I care.
I'm neither a "Democrat" nor "Republican".
I voted against Trump both times.
I'm Black American, Arabs have had a direct effect creating the conditions for the Transatlantic Slave Trade, with the Trans-Saharan Slave trade.
Arabs have 1000+ years of documented ANTI-BLACKNESS, many of us Black Folks in America are aware of this.
We've been to Arab owned convenience stores, gas stations etc... Where they treat Black Folks with contempt.
Even after all of this, we were still sympathetic to the issues in Gaza, and the plight of the Palestinian people.
Arab-Americans voted in the interest that they thought would best benefit their people, we warned them.
It is what it is.
