the problem with austin theory is the same thing that happened with Roman with what happened to Drew McIntyre early in his career....Vince made it very clear that's who he endorsed and the fans immediately no matter if they're good or not.

I wanted Roman to win and I was still shocked. But it makes sense with the story I think they will tell. Roman losing isn’t going to cause the Bloodline the fold but the Bloodline folding will cause him to lose. If they do the buildup right and get Cody back super hot they gotta do it at WM again next year. SSlam ain’t big enough.

There is no way Cody makes it to the next WM anywhere near this hot again.
They gotta pull the trigger at SS or split the belts at this point.

No one else is really in position to be "The Guy" while there is only one title.

Imo whoever beats Roman should/will be a made man. If Jey beats Roman just to become a transitional champ to someone who Roman likely already beat, it looks bad and kinda wastes Roman’s streak of not being pinned.

Plus is Jey able to take on the top guy responsibilities? I hate that it needs to be considered, but he will be the companies go to media guy, and I don’t think I’ve seen him interview before

The bolded is the one reason why I don't think the WWE would ever make Jey Uso a top champion.
