the thing about this fight. any fighter can end it at any moment. it's not even about chins, it's about how big of puncher's these guy's are. any fighter gets hit with great force they can be put to sleep. But I just think matthyse is overall better than prov. better boxer and a bigger puncher too. the question is who can take more punishment. I don't believe matthyse was "on the brink" with molina. one knockdown he was cuffed behind the head and the other he just got caught slippin in a vulnerable position. he wasn't dazed by either of em. later in the fight he took much bigger punches from molina and barely flinched. I actually think that fight helped matthyse more than hurt him. it was the first real war he's been in and he finished it in brutal fashion. molina was bleeding from every opening in his face. nose, mouth, eyes, ears..... mathyse had his ass bleeding from the side of his head. that shyt aint normal. I know prov can hurt matthyse but I think lucas is smart enough to box early then go for the kill once prov starts to wear down. I expect prov's swelling to be a major issue early on. don't think his face will hold up.
Molina buzzed Lucas in the 1st round though. He recovered quickly, but he got caught near the temple and was wobbly. That's the only thing that makes me worry with Prov. Matthysse's chin will be tested early and often. If Lucas can hold up, he'll pick Prov apart like some have said and get a ref or corner stoppage due to accumulated damage. If not, then Prov can put him away.

The 1st bolded is true...nikkas get fukked UP fighting Prov:wow:

The 2nd bolded is a :ahh: and :mjpls: to the breh @MIAlien who knows that's one of my go to quotes:banderas:

Thirdly, I'm in Downtown Miami (#FloridaBoyz :salutekobe:smile: and I just found out the Marriott Im staying in carries HBO in our rooms:wow:

I thought I wasn't going to be able to catch this fight brehs:mjcry:
Where you taking the Mrs for dinner? #BandCamp can't be cheap breh. Don't let me find out you took her to Bongos or some offbrand shyt. It better be Zuma or Prime 112.

And as a Lucas fan, I want to say Lucas broke Molina down, etc, but AB has progressed as a boxer and it showed against Molina. He ditched the shoulder roll and boxed well behind a strong jab. And those feints were freezing Molina all night.

Sorta unrelated, but AB is probably going to emerge unscathed as the king @ 140 after everyone else is done killing each other. It's going to go down like Reservoir Dogs and Broner will run off with the jewels like Mr. Pink. If I was Broner, I'd jump at the chance to take the survivor of the war tonight.

Gotta celebrate my 5 year wedding anniversary with Mrs. Newzz:heh:

The Khan vs Algieri fight is a decent fighter to miss. I don't expect any fireworks...might just be a "who's the better pure boxer" match:obama:
damn breh how old is you? :jay74:

We went to "Ristorante Fratelli Moreno" on SE 1st St. It was a nice little spot and the food was excellent.

As far as AB, I agree with everything you posted. I seriously doubt he would have been as effective fighting a war with Molina, so he just out-boxed him to a safe, but clear win. He blanked him 12-0 and showed that Boxing and Moving is what he needs to do now at this higher weight to make his fights much easier.
