Not as powerful or as high a resolution screen as the Nexus 7, Kindle HD, or Nook HD and all those are cheaper plus no NFC. All those tablets shyts on it spec wise! So yes it has better tablet apps but as devs start switching to halo faster and faster that advantage will start to diminish.

At those prices, amazon, google, and kindle should still be able to

ipad 3 (or 4) is head and shoulders above all of them and absolutely worth $500
not gonna comment on the Mac comps cause im still a PC guy in that area, but they do seem a bit overpriced.
