I'm continually impressed by the Vision Pro. It really is the future. Zuck really fukked up. He'll copy that shyt for sure, but it won't be up to Apple standards. fukk Zuck though (for personal reasons, as I worked for him for a bit but he laid me off). I'm off the NDA, they already paid me severance. It was a good company to work for. Everybody was really smart (almost everybody, including me, had a phd), but his vision for the metaverse is really backwards. I hope he comes up with something really good in the future, but the Quest Pro wasn't it. It's true he has the best games with the Quest 3. That is his saving grace. Plus, the price, like you said. The Vision Pro is pricy for sure, but what you can do with it is amazing.

breh i just checked vision pro the cheapest model in canada is 3,499 the average consumer is not spending that type of bread

i have a oculus 2 i paid 450 for a few years ago and a ps vr2 i paid 850 for

you can get a ps5, oculus 3, steam deck oled, iphone 15 pro and still not spend 3,500

the pro vision is for a niche market

I agree, once the PSVR2 comes to PC it will be amazing. But the Vision Pro is next level. It's hard to explain without trying it out, but it is fukking amazing. The hand gestures are easy as fukk. The screen is much better (4K). The AR is just so much better than the Quest 3

if meta put $15B into the meta quest pro, then I imagine apple put 2 to 3 times more into the vision pro. lets be honest here given how technologically superior the vision pro is.

If my job was using macs instead of pcs, I could see myself working on the Vision Pro at my job. It actually would make things easier. Being able to put screens everywhere is amazing.
