people who bought a new MacBook Pro are going to be pissed

Naw, intel gonna get support for awhile. By the time people ready to replace their 2020 macs, the kinks from the arm transition and the devices will be smoothed out. shyt they just released a new imac months after the wwdc announcement. And this aint like powerpc that was dead in the water, x86 is used by hundreds of millions of people. Def excited to see what they pull off with ARM tho. Machines gonna run cooler, faster, and with longer battery life.

I hope Native Instruments, Akai, Reason Studios port their daws over to Arm. I bought Logic a while ago but I haven’t used it extensively yet. I also hope this opens up some form of logic to run on a iPad.

I’ll wait for the second gen arm Mac books to drop before checking them out though.

Also Apple TV Os can finally play YouTube videos in 4k.

Apple has promised Logic, final cut, etc is coming to ARM. Mac programs are safe in the transition

Yeah I changed my mind, i'm getting a GEN 1 arm mac book. Can't wait to see how it performs.
