i do have a macbook... i just wanna be sittin here watching some shyt and just wirelessly have it on the big screeen

If you want to mirror your entire desktop than go with Apple TV or fire tv. If you just want to stream netflix or movies you have on your laptop go with chromecast.

This is all you'll need to stream from your laptop to chromecast. It'll even do mkv files.

The other devices are the best for streaming media over the internet. But if you have a large collection of movies on an external drive, none of them perform better than WD TV Live. WD TV Live plays damn near everything with no problems.

Got an apple tv and a roku.....now that i can use hbogo on my roku, its far better than apple tv. Many many more channels. Only thing i lije about apple more is my digital collection is on it, but its whatever. I just put em ona thumb drive to watch em on roku

Make sure you get a bluetooth mouse. You'll needed when using showbox. The firetv controller doesn't work well with it. Here is another video showing you how to do that can't remember if that other one has it or not.
