Apple TV vs Roku vs Chromecast..... who you got??

Roku that chromecast shyt is wack and Apple TV is too tied into iOS...
I ordered a fire tv from amazon but still haven't got it yet...I'm tied into amazon.
Chromecast doesn't hit to me because it's always timing out when I'm streaming from my computer...I have an iphone and a Mac...and an iPad...it just not a reliable as the roku.

Roku has Youtube and you could even pair your device and stream videos like Chromecast.

I was talkin about youtube. You can stream youtube videos straight to the Roku box from you laptop or mobile device.
When it comes to shyt you download you can always just put them on a usb stick and then stick it in the roku. Just make sure the file format is mp4 and it will be able to play it perfectly.
You could pick up an 8g usb stick for under 10 bucks I think.

It depends on what you wanna do. I have an Apple TV because I have iDevices and it can mirror Movie Box (show box) and NFL and NBA games to my TV very easily and in high quality.
But I also have a cheap $40 media player called a Micca Speck for playing my downloaded files. The reason I went with that is because it plays ALL files, avi, mp4, wmv, flv, and most importantly for me mkv. It was the only one on the market I saw that could play anything you throw at it.
Between these 2 units, I have all the entertainment I need.

I stream from my note 3 using avia....shobox is netflix on steroids and it streams to my chrome cast perfectly fine...I just watched almost a entire season of season 4 walking dead with no time outs. Maybe it's a ios/your pc thing
Chromecast is a lot cheaper than all the other options. I haven't had any problems with it. So, Chromecast
