My job gave me an iPhone, so I figured I would take advantage of this free year trial.
Watched two episodes of "For All Mindkind" (because last year I was told that was the best show on this.) It's not all that great, but at least the picture quality looks good.
After two episodes, its like an inferior "Man in the High Castle" meets non-comedic "Space Force" with a little bit of "Hunters". But unlike those shows its trying to feel "real". It LOOKS real, but it doesn't feel real to me at all.

Finished out "For All Mankind". I actually ended up kind of liking it. The trick is to look at it as "Sci Fi" and not as some kind of realistic alternate history of the the Space program. It's a dumber show than it thinks it is, but it works if you look at it like its a prequel to a different future where humans reached "Star Trek" technology earlier than we're currently heading for. The way they're going on the show, by the year 2001 they'll be at the level of 2001: A Space Odyssey.
It's just silly to me that the show seems to think that the the space program was all about showing off how much "balls" we have. It's pretty naive.

This is the only mainstream streaming service I don’t have. I’ll probably continue to wait on it since filming has been derailed by COVID.

They're going full SciFi space war now. Looks much more interesting. When my free year runs out I MAY be willing to pay for a month if the show comes out after then.

That's the only thing I've seen on this app so far that I'd be willing to pay $5 for.

EDIT: I just re-watched the trailer and the 2nd time I noticed that the music has part of the beat from "Sweet Dreams are Made of This".

I like it.

No app on the PS4, so I don't have a way to access without buying extra equipment. Only show I would check out is the Mac videogame show which I've heard good things about. I have enough in my lineup from other services I'm good though.
