My problem with that show is that it's a soccer show with hardly any soccer

Samsung guy so i had to get a free trial to Apple +. Watched this. I love it. I love everything about it. It's the most wholesome and likable show I can recall watching since like Parks and Rec. Sudekis is awesome, and i just love British humor, so the mix of Brit and American humor is perfect. So damn good.
... bootlegging the rest of the season though.
best part for me, as i don't give a shyt about soccer, but i can see that.
i wrote a pilot a few years ago which was about a Canadian hockey player who gets hired to run a minor league hockey team in Texas, and it was similar to this show on so many levels, yet obviously much worse and anonymous, b/c who the fukk am i? But there was basically zero actual hockey in the pilot, which i'm sure people would hate. it was about a guy with zero idea how to run a team running a team. behind the scenes mostly, and it's called "The Off Ice," which I still think is an amazing title.

apple tv+ is so underwhelming. I have watched like 3 things ever on this service, and the ONLY reason I have it now is cuz it was free when I bought an apple watch back in december 2019.
that said, I'll end up keeping it cuz I'm getting apple one when it drops and my trial ends cuz it's only $5 more than what I'm currently paying and I get icloud plus the arcade as well along with apple music. so its essentially free.

I would NOT pay for this app, though. Once my free time is up I can't imagining paying for this.
